Nothing says Spring like the mix of bright colors and a white tailored suit. I decided to experiment this go round, so I paired my coral pleated skirt with a striped button down shirt. On top I went with my favorite white blazer and for a pop color I added a fluorescent chain necklace. I think the outfit turned out quite well. Spring Has Sprung

Stripe cotton tees (Old Navy), Button down shirt (H&M), Heels (Cathy Jean), Lipsticks - 970 Purty Persimmon & 903 C Just Peachy (Wet N Wild)

Here are a few items that I purchased over the month of March. I needed a few basic pieces for the spring and summer, so opted for these two basic tees from old navy and a short sleeve button down from H&M. With the warmer months approaching, I had to pick up a pair of nude patent leather pumps. They look great with any outfit and the neutral palette looks amazing with bright colors. To top off my recent purchases, I picked up two new Wet N Wild lipsticks from Walgreen's. A trend for this Spring is definitely a bold orange lip, so I went for this nice matte orange shade in 970 Purty Persimmon. The other shade I picked up was Just Peachy 903 C, which is a great color for everyday wear. I look forward to styling these basic pieces with my Spring and Summer wardrobe. Thanks for stopping by! New Specs

I love new glasses! I recently purchased two new pair from the online store Zenni Optical. Zenni Optical offers chic glasses at a very reasonable price. Their glasses run between $7-$50. This time around I opted for a classic black pair and aviator style sunglasses. By my surprise, both pair are high quality frames. It doesn't get any better than that!
